Len called me a while ago to tell me things that made me quite happy.

we are first in our music exam! Our group (len, kathleen, frances, geli, kai, melissa and i) got a group grade of 95 for performing a folk sond medley, and i think we did pretty well!

we are FOURTH in our gymnastics presentation!!! yehey! Len told me that our score from the third placer, section 1, only differs by less than a point! yehey! congrats to dear chakai.. and to my beloved classmates.. indeed, all our trouble and sacrifices has paid off!

im still at baguio, waiting for my brothers to finish with their crap.. in a while, were eating dinner with our cousins, and im praying real hard we'll eat at gerry's grill or dencio's. it's really chilly, and ive got an intense craving for cholesterol in the form of bulalo.. haha.. im going home na tmrw! yehey.. i miss raui.. and my friends.. and those i love..

till next time!

**i had the ultimate ukay2 experience this morning, i bought a louis vuitton clutch for (drum roll please) 30 pesos! haha. funny how people dont seem to know the worth of louis vuitton.. and prada.. and balenciaga.. and gucci.. and valentino.. and versace.. believe me.. if you went with me, you'd know what i mean.. hihi..

yesterday was the day of the long awaited family day in stc, if you know what i mean.

for theresians like me, it has always been something good; not that we like it so much,. because NO, we dont, its just that it is one of the best things that can happen in a stiff and overwhelmingly conservative environment like stc. so yes, family day is one of the few things we look forward to every year. (yeah, yeah, go laugh now.)

For the alumnae, family day is more like a blast to the past experience. they watch the programs poor theresians have to embarrassingly perform before them, the entire faculty (practically the entire community), and the parents. this is where the dance production comes in. Since about a decade ago (theresian friends, correct me if i am wrong), fourth and third year present a class dance production and gymnastics presentation respectively. last year, my batch (we were sophomores then) started a street dance presentation, we were the first batch, and my class, well, we landed sixth out of six sections.

ANYWAY, this year, the freshmen also came up with their presentation, interpretative dance. all sections of the entire high school department prepare very eagerly, practicing during PE time for the entire second quarter. Going back to the blast-to-the-past thingy, family day is really such a big laugh for alumni. they watch the theresians dance in their cheap(costumes should only be a hundred pesos per person) hand-sewn costumes over pe uniforms, doing their routines, no matter how hilarious, if only to win first, second or third place (just like they once danced, made costumes and performed with all their might to please the judges). funny and almost baduy, i should say. but ok fine. the whole dance thingy is a tradition so lets get on with it.but i still wonder why being sixth has also turned out to be a tradition, especially when we have burned our asses of in practices... hmmmmm....

"no, we dont have concerts, not on family day. we dont have variety shows, other than the dance production, but we do have bingo, calesa, and a horror train."- typical teacher of stc

WOW. UNBELIEVABLE. can you believe this? i cant.

worse? dresscodes and curfews on family day.

dresscode: no skimpy blouses (already have been well defined to theresians; meaning--no plunging necklines, no halter tops, no backless, no tube tops, nothing tight or see through, nothing sleeveless) pants- nothing tight and nothing low waisted

honestly? the night before my family day, i still couldnt sleep. i had nothing in my closet that would fit their standard outfit. all i had were camisole like spaghetti strapped blouses and super low rise jeans. i wasnt willing to be a fashion victim. not on family day.

so i came in tight pink low rise cargo pants, and a black racerback shirt that showed my hot pink bra that slipped out of my shirt and black birkenstocks. Perfect.

the curfew? 5 pm! noooooooooo!

anyway, im in baguio. and my mom's calling for me now. noooooo...

(its kinda yucky to have dirty nails when everybody will be looking at you while you do your routine)
2. i gotta pick out an outfit.
3. i gotta sleep a little.
4. finish my costume for tmrw
5. i gotta test the make up on Arielle or Annetta so i wouldnt mess up tmrw. haha.
i need all the luck...
ON THE OTHER HAND, i hate how i can barely sleep at night worrying about card's day, and how i barely get to daydream because i am so worried about how my exams will come out. but then again. i still have a good few weeks to live and yes, a few weeks to enjoy. bwahaha.

above all my frustrations with my second quarter exam, i can not deny the fact that there are so many things to be happy about. (ahem, thank you Lord for this beautiful day..for my family and friends.. and my life too.)

1. i am happy about next week's schedule. i think its something like having half day regular classes til thursday and having practices til 4 something after that, then having totally no classes on friday to practice. sounds like burning off calories to me since we will be doing our routines in gymnastics, plus, potential bonding time with my other diosa friends (Kams, Via, Berna and Kathleeny) and my beloved iii3.

2. in a week, it will be our family day in STC. i am more than sure we will not quite enjoy the bingo thingy (and i have no plans of participating at all), BUT, it is a chance to pig out after 2 weeks of desperate dieting( no soda and carbs), and the start of my well deserved break. i wanna be detached from stc for a while, more than a while actually. im getting tired of living a routinal life. ANYWAY, i am happy and grateful STILL.

3. Lastly, i can not deny that the "christimas spirit" is slowly getting into me. i love how the weather is, by God's grace, getting better, yup, less humid. i love it, i love it, i love it.
**i am happy about raui's little sibling who's coming in january, i think. aka a new baby to kiss!!! i do pray its gna be a baby girl. i can already imagine buying pretty little clothes in Gingersnaps with Arielle this christmas season. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. enough for now! tata!

The whole game was fun all in all.. but sometimes you just cant help but feel disheartened when you see the Eagles fall... hay.. i hope they make it to the finals.

We ate dinner at the Old Spaghetti House in Katipunan. Being the sore losers we are, we pigged out on a lot of dessert (yummy funnel cake and turtle cake) and a good 2 orders of garlic mushrooms. haha.

Im going to church today.. i know there are a lot of things i should be thankful for (like getting an 83 in math! that's no joke after getting a 71 in second year Algebra), and a lot more things to pray for and ask guidance for. yehey. i am happy today.. how i wish i will always be.

today is a day of doing reflections for religion class, making notes in English and Pinoy, finish reading 2 novels, start working on the upcoming termpaper, and make notes on a 60+ chapter book, Noli Me Tangere.

and yeah.. i made a new friend last night.. SOLEIL.. i also got to watch My Bestfriend's wedding.. and of course, being the cry baby i am, may i really cry my heart out in front of my twin brothers! (it was my gazillionth time to watch it last night) haha.. what a hopeless romantic.

i have just finished eating my breakfast--vegetable soup with shell-like pasta and an amazing glaze gonut donut.. all left overs from last night.. oh well.. at least my breakfast was good.

i am hoping for a miracle! so if there is any kindhearted person out there who could help me with my work.. please! message me! haha.. kidding. what a bum.

i guess that's all for now.. goodluck to me. (i need all the luck i could get.) ciao.

Everything has been going smooth since yesterday, it almost feels as if God has heard my every insecurity. It's wonderful how God works--perfectly and unexpected. Just last Monday, i became a victim of misunderstandings. before i knew it, i was there in the covered court watching this cultural dance troupe fuck while weeping endlessly! (reminds me of miss aguilar's beweep=cries..di ba lament? as in lamentation? helloooooo?!?!?!) anyway, i was starting to give in to the idea that maybe..just maybe..im sucky because im shit.

That afternoon, i was busy doing errands for mom, as she was leaving for Russia later that evening. i got in touch with Erika, Mime and Veronix, and found out that everything has been ironed out already--no more conflicts and backstabbing. Kams, berna, kathleen and via also surfaced out to show their presence and concern..sweet! indeed, my world has fallen, but its alright. at least the stars fell with it.=)
